What is a serialized story?

Serialized stories are much like TV shows in that they are released in regular episodes, rather than all at once in a single book. This allows you as the reader to engage with the story throughout the process, and also allows me as the author to explore more side stories and avenues than I usually can in a traditional book. Each new chapter of Song of Ash is scheduled to release every Wednesday.
